Dr. Saber Osman

Founder and Chairman

Saber Osman is a climate change, sustainability, and policy-making expert with over 20 years of experience working across the Egyptian government, UAE government, international organizations like GIZ, the private sector, and NGOs. He has led high-impact projects on climate adaptation, environmental policy development, and capacity building for organizations such as USAID, FAO, UNICEF, and WHO. His work spans sectors like agriculture, water resources, health, and urban planning, where I’ve developed and implemented climate risk management strategies and contributed to national and regional policy frameworks.

He has participated in climate change negotiations and have attended UNFCCC COPs from 2007 through COP28. As part of Egypt’s Climate Change Negotiation Team, he served as a lead negotiator for the African Group of Negotiators and G77 & China on climate adaptation topics.

In addition to policy development, I’ve delivered training to over 6,000 participants from Africa, the Arab world, and Egypt, including government officials, NGOs, and students. He has contributed to over 40 international, regional, and national climate projects, focusing on sustainability and resilience-building.

Saber holds a PhD in Agricultural Sciences (Environment and Bio-Agriculture), an MSc in Climate Change, and a BSc in Agricultural Sciences, along with diplomas in Project Management, International Negotiation, and Natural Resources Management. He is a GRI-certified in sustainability reporting and an expert in GHG inventory for agriculture and waste sectors. Saber's diverse experience across the public and private sectors enables me to drive sustainable development and climate action across the Middle East and Africa.
